Thanks for the inquiry. I was all set to go on Oct. 12-in pre-op,shunt needle in and dr. said they were concerned about high blood sugar. They have put me on new meds and I have put myself on a much diffrent diet. Around Dec. 10, I will be re-tested and if blood sugar OK, surgery should be scheduled within the next two weeks. 6 hrs. of surgery probably means I will be a back side of the two weeks because of the time needed.
